Biographies
Jim McKeith
In 1968, Jim started playing a baseball bat mimicking the
Beatles and the Monkees. Driven with the
desire to play music, he found himself in
several bands playing what 'they' wanted to
play. In 1999, he formed with Pete Mose, a
duo called The Shaydes (a pop rock sound of
the music that influenced both of them).
They soon transformed into a trio with Oz
and now a band with Mark. The Shaydes is
the band he always wanted to be part of as
their lead singer and rhythm guitarist. |

Pete
Mossner
Pete comes from a variety of band
backgrounds. As one of the co-founders of
the Shaydes, he adds a melodic base sound
that drives the Shaydes energy. He is known
as the quiet one of the group. |

Mark Musich
A veteran of Michigan's local music scene
for over 20 years, Mark's role in the
Shaydes is lead guitarist, commentator and
comedian. Mark has performed in many
musical contexts over the years, including
the acoustic folk rock of Miscellaneous
Jones, Detroit punk notables, the Druggies,
Mid-Michigan's premier funk disco outfit,
the Sugar Daddies, Bay City based rock band
Fantastic 4 and the politically, morally and
spiritually incorrect side project, Candy.
Mark is committed to helping others realize
personal goals in music related endeavors-
teaching guitar, sound reinforcement and
artist support in the Mid-Michigan area
since 1994. |

Oz Oswald
In 1982, Oz started playing drums in the bar with the Prairie
Fire Band. After that he joined the Sidewalkers and jammed with them for 12
years, before graduating to the "Shaydes".
Musical influences are anything good, any
style. Lets be for real -- your mind goes
where your body follows-- |
